In accordance with relative stipulates, Overseas Chinese and Fellowmen of Hong Kong、Macao and Taiwan are allowed to buy houses offered to foreigners in mainland, paying by foreign exchange.

  For Taiwan fellowmen:

   Lots of new stipulates on encouraging Taiwan sibs to buy houses in Beijing have come into being. But also, follow qualifications should be fulfilled:

   1. Only written application with ID card will be accepted. Beijing government will give the letter of instruction for buying houses after examination and approval.

  2. If Taiwan fellowmen entrust his/her friends or relatives to buy houses in mainland, the trust certification, consigner’s valid ID certifications(copy) and Taiwan Sibs Certification should be referred.

  3. House sale agencies will transact buying procedure in accordance with the letter of introduction offered by Taiwan Office of Beijing.

   For foreigners:

  1. In accordance with The Stipulate on Foreigners’ Privately Owned Houses Management, both foreign enterprises and foreigners can get private house ownership under Urban Private House Management Statute.

  2. Foreign buyers must use foreign exchange, and only can buy houses just offered for foreigners. Houses as above all belong to private estate, could be sell, exchange, succeed or largess by law. And the property right transfer procedure should be finished in time at local house management agency.
